AJ Chambers is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join a growing London-based accountancy practice. The role involves hands-on audit fieldwork, managing client relationships and leading over 10 audits per year from planning through to completion.

You will lead audit assignments, conduct on-site fieldwork, and prepare working papers while supervising junior staff and maintaining strong client contact. Flexible working arrangement offers 1-2 days in the office, with sponsorship not available.

• Strong technical knowledge of auditing and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsabilités

The role will involve hands-on audit fieldwork, managing client relationships and taking responsibility for leading over 10 Audits a year, from planning through to completion.

Your key responsibilities will include -

• Lead and manage audit assignments, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Carry out on-site audit fieldwork, including testing financial records and gathering audit evidence.
• Prepare and review audit working papers, identifying risks and potential issues.
• Supervise and support junior team members, providing guidance and reviewing their work.

• Previous experience in an audit role, with the ability to lead assignments independently.
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively as part of a team.
• ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified or equivalent.
