Job summary

ProTalent Limited is working with a well-established local practice in Sittingbourne seeking an Audit Senior to lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, with hybrid working. You'll manage fieldwork, keep files in order, be the day-to-day contact for clients, and mentor junior team members while also preparing and reviewing accounts, with some tax, VAT and PAYE work.

ACA or ACCA qualification and prior practice-audit experience required; strong organisation and client

ABOUT THE FIRM

My client is a well-established local practice that's part of a large UK and Ireland accountancy and business advisory group. It has the feel of a close-knit local office, with the training, technical support and specialist colleagues of a much bigger firm behind it. The audit team is growing, which is why they're hiring.

THE ROLE

You'll lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, running the fieldwork, keeping the file in good order and getting it ready for manager review. You'll be the day-to-day contact for your clients, so there's plenty of client time. You'll also help the juniors on each job and answer their questions, which is a big part of what makes a good senior.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Leading audits from planning to completion


• Making sure files are complete, well organised and ready for sign-off

WHO THIS WILL SUIT
