Job summary

Clark Wood is seeking an accomplished Audit Senior to join our Perth team. You will lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, delivering high-quality statutory financial statements for a diverse client base.

You will apply IFRS and UK GAAP understanding, coach junior staff, and build lasting client relationships while collaborating with Managers and Partners to drive efficient delivery and client service.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent.
• Experience delivering audits across diverse sectors.
• Strong IFRS and UK GAAP understanding.

Responsibilities

• Plan and complete audit assignments from start to finish.
• Carry out audit fieldwork with substantive and analytical procedures.
• Prepare statutory financial statements from client data.
• Identify and highlight key risks or areas of concern.
• Take ownership of a varied client portfolio.
• Build strong, long-term client relationships.
• Coach and support junior members of the audit team.
• Work closely with Managers and Partners to ensure assignments are completed efficiently.

About You

• ACA / ACCA / CA qualified or equivalent
• Previous audit experience within an accountancy practice
• Experience working with clients across a variety of sectors
• Good working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
• Confident planning and completing audit assignments
• Previous experience coaching or mentoring junior staff
