Job summary

RECfinancial seeks an experienced Audit Senior to lead a new team and deliver professional services to a portfolio of clients. The role involves supervising the audit team, liaising with managers, and ensuring audit files meet the required standards, with a focus on quality and service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have solid audit experience (minimum 3 years), be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, and demonstrate leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an audit environment.
• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated leadership and team supervision abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise an audit team, providing leadership and guidance to junior members.
• Liaise between client and managers during the audit.
• Ensure files are prepared in line with the audit manual for review.
• Perform detailed technical work to deliver high-quality client service.
• Provide an exceptional service with commercial awareness and initiative on complex matters.

RECfinancial are currently shortlisting for this UK based Top 30 forward thinking and innovative Practice as they look to recruit an experienced Audit Senior to join their new team.

This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Audit Senior or Audit Semi Seniorto progress their career to the next level. Our client offers incredible growth potential for those that really want it.

Reporting through to Senior Management, you'll oversee a settled team and manage the delivery of professional services to a portfolio of clients, engaging at all levels.

As expected at this level, your role will involve the following;

• You will supervise an audit team, providing leadership, guidance and support to junior team members as required.
• You will provide liaison between client and managers during the audit.
• Ensure that files are prepared in accordance with the audit manual for managerial review.
• You will perform detailed technical work and be instrumental in the delivery of service to clients, in a supportive manner.
• Provide an exceptional service with confidence, commercial awareness and initiative when handling complex technical matter.

What are we looking for in the Audit Senior?

• Drive, passion, motivation and solid experience are a must
• The ability to make business critical decision and problem solve
• Ideally ACA / ACCA qualified or equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years in an Audit environment
