Job summary

RECfinancial are recruiting an experienced Audit Senior to join their UK-based practice and lead a busy audit team in Blaby. You will oversee the delivery of professional services to a portfolio of clients and supervise junior staff through the audit process.

The ideal candidate will have ACA/ACCA or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years in an audit environment. The role offers hybrid working, a 33-day holiday entitlement and strong pension and lifestyle benefits.

Responsibilities

RECfinancial are currently shortlisting for this UK based Top 30 forward thinking and innovative Practice as they look to recruit an experienced Audit Senior to join their new team.

Reporting through to Senior Management, you'll oversee a settled team and manage the delivery of professional services to a portfolio of clients, engaging at all levels.

As expected at this level, your role will involve the following;

• You will supervise an audit team, providing leadership, guidance and support to junior team members as required.
• You will provide liaison between client and managers during the audit.
• Ensure that files are prepared in accordance with the audit manual for managerial review.
• You will perform detailed technical work and be instrumental in the delivery of service to clients, in a supportive manner.
• Provide an exceptional service with confidence, commercial awareness and initiative when handling complex technical matter.

What are we looking for in the Audit Senior?

• Drive, passion, motivation and solid experience are a must
• The ability to make business critical decision and problem solve
• Ideally ACA / ACCA qualified or equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years in an Audit environment
