Job summary

Crowe Watson Recruitment is sourcing an experienced Audit Senior for a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Beaconsfield.

You will plan, lead and complete audits, supervise juniors and liaise with clients to build solid relationships while identifying improvements for clients. The role offers flexible working and a strong pension in a reputable practice.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or QBE.
• Experience in a UK Practice environment is required.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills; able to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and complete audit assignments across a varied client portfolio.

• Prepare statutory accounts and audit files to a high standard.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Planning, leading and completing audit assignments across a varied client portfolio
• Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members
• Preparing statutory accounts and audit files to a high standard
• Liaising directly with clients to build strong working relationships
• Identifying areas for process improvement and adding value for clients

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or QBE
• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines
