Job summary

Autograph Specialist Recruitment is seeking an Audit Senior / Semi Senior to join a central Bristol practice. You will lead and assist on audits, prepare fieldwork and accounts, and mentor junior staff in a supportive, specialist client base.

Open to part-qualified or fully qualified ACA/ACCA candidates. This full-time, office-based role offers clear progression and study support with salary up to £50,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice environment.
• Strong audit experience within practice is essential.
• ACA / ACCA part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience candidates will be considered.
• Experience leading or supporting audits from planning through to completion.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Leading and assisting on audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Preparing audit fieldwork and supporting documentation
• Working closely with managers and partners to deliver audits efficiently and to a high standard
• Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the audit process
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
• Working across a specialist and varied client portfolio
• You will gain exposure to a broad range of assignments, allowing you to further strengthen both your technical expertise and client-facing skills.

Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE

Our client, a well-established and growing accountancy practice based in central Bristol, is looking to strengthen its audit team with the addition of an Audit Senior / Semi Senior.

This opportunity would suit someone with UK accountancy practice experience and a strong audit background who is looking to join a supportive firm offering exposure to a specialist client portfolio and excellent long-term career opportunities. The firm is open to both part-qualified and fully qualified candidates who are looking to continue developing their career within audit and accounts.

The Role
