Job summary

A well-established accountancy practice in Cheam is seeking an Audit Senior to join their team. Are you an Audit Semi-Senior or Senior ready for a new challenge? Maybe you're in a smaller firm and looking to step into a larger team with more complex and interesting work?

We're working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice that’s looking to bring an Audit Senior into their friendly audit team. You’ll get to work with clients from a wide range of industries, giving you plenty of variety and great exposure.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be out visiting clients across the UK and gaining experience with top-quality audit work.

What you’ll be doing:

Leading audits from planning through to completion

Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts

Delegating tasks and supervising junior staff, both on-site and in the office

Supporting the development and training of trainees

Building strong relationships with clients and being a key point of contact

Assisting with ad hoc advisory projects and wider client services

Requirements

Successful applicants will be:

• ACCA/ACA qualified with ideally 1-2 years' post qualified experience, but those part-qualified will be considered
  
• experienced in leading audits, and guiding junior colleagues on site
  
• working knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and Financial Reporting requirements

Salary will be dependent on experience but likely in the region of £36,000 for part-qualified through to £50,000 for an experience post-qualified accountant.
