What you'll be doing day to day

• Work with a diverse client portfolio of commercial businesses up to £300m turnover, ranging from owner-managed businesses to listed entities and other corporate clients.
• Plan and complete statutory audits of corporate clients, both on-site and in the office.
• Lead the audit team on-site and ensure all audit procedures are followed.
• Supervise and support the work of junior team members.
• Develop relationships and liaise with client-side personnel, including non-accounts staff.
• Produce work for review by Managers and/or Partners.
• Identify technical or client-specific issues and suggest possible solutions.

About you

• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport are essential for team collaboration and client service.
• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or part-qualified with relevant experience.
• Experience with automated audit software and computer-based accounts and tax programmes.
• Full clean driving licence with unrestricted access to a car (desirable but not essential).
• Well-organised with good time management skills.
