Austin Rose Associates is seeking an experienced Audit Senior in Birmingham to take full ownership of client portfolios, lead audits from planning to completion, and strengthen client relationships. You will mentor trainees, review complex audit work, and identify opportunities for advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion across a diverse client portfolio.
• Preparing audit files and ensuring all work meets rigorous technical and regulatory standards.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout assignments, building lasting relationships.
• Reviewing draft financial statements and audit work prepared by junior members of the team.
• Identifying areas where clients may benefit from additional advisory support or business services.

As an Audit Senior you will:

• Support and mentor trainees on audit engagements, guiding their professional development.
• Prepare statutory accounts and associated corporation tax computations when required.
• Work closely with managers and partners to ensure seamless client service delivery.
• Manage engagement budgets, key milestones, and client deadlines effectively.
