Job summary

ProTalent in the Solent area is seeking a Part-Qualified Audit Semi-Senior or Senior to join a growing Audit & Assurance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career within a supportive and progressive practice that puts its people at the centre.

You will supervise audits from planning through to completion, review junior work, and act as the main contact for clients, delivering high-quality service on time and on budget while collaborating with colleagues in person or remotely.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA.
• External audit experience in practice (at least 18 months).
• Experience leading audits under ISAs.
• Confident preparing accounts under UK GAAP.
• Strong communication skills with clients and senior staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Motivated team player able to work independently when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervising audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Reviewing the work of junior colleagues, providing feedback and coaching.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, delivering excellent service and building trusted relationships.
• Ensuring all work is completed on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
• Collaborating with colleagues both in person and via remote-working technology.
