Menzies LLP in the Solent office is seeking an Audit Senior or part-qualified Audit Senior to join our Audit & Assurance team. You will supervise audit assignments from planning to completion and coach junior colleagues.

The role may involve remote work or client sites, leveraging technology to deliver a high-quality service. If you are ACA/ACCA-qualified or progressing, with 18-24 months’ audit experience and strong UK GAAP knowledge, you’ll fit in well within a collaborative, client-focused

Qualifications

• ACA qualified or progressing towards ACA/ACCA with the professional/applied skills stage completed.
• 18-24 months’ experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice, including leading external audit assignments from fieldwork to completion under International Standards on Auditing.
• Experience preparing accounts under UK GAAP, and strong communication with senior staff and clients.
• Knowledge of Caseware or Inflo software and Mercia audit methodologies is a bonus but not essential.
• Candidates must have UK work eligibility without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the progress of audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Review the work of junior colleagues and coach them in their development.
• Deliver audit engagements remotely or on client sites, using a range of technologies and collaboration with the wider audit team to delight clients.
