Job summary

ACCA Careers in Greater Manchester is recruiting an Audit Semi Senior to support high-quality engagements, perform testing, and assist with planning and completion. You will develop technical and client-facing skills while working with senior team members across a diverse client portfolio.

The role offers hybrid working with full study support to achieve ACA/ACCA qualifications and clear progression within a growing practice.

Qualifications

Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA/ACCA.
Experience in external audit within a UK accountancy firm.
Strong understanding of UK GAAP and auditing standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Proactive approach and willingness to learn and take on responsibility.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements for a range of clients across different sectors.
Perform audit testing across financial statement areas and document audit evidence to a high standard.
Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.
Support the team in identifying audit risks and recommending improvements.
Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, demonstrating professionalism and exceptional customer service.
Coach and mentor junior team members.
Work collaboratively with Audit Seniors, Managers and Partners to ensure high-quality service delivery and timely completion of assignments.
