ACCA Careers in Greater Manchester is recruiting an Audit Semi Senior to support high-quality engagements, perform testing, and assist with planning and completion. You will develop technical and client-facing skills while working with senior team members across a diverse client portfolio.

The role offers hybrid working with full study support to achieve ACA/ACCA qualifications and clear progression within a growing practice.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA/ACCA.
• Experience in external audit within a UK accountancy firm.
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP and auditing standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proactive approach and willingness to learn and take on responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements for a range of clients across different sectors.
• Perform audit testing across financial statement areas and document audit evidence to a high standard.
• Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.
• Support the team in identifying audit risks and recommending improvements.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, demonstrating professionalism and exceptional customer service.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
• Work collaboratively with Audit Seniors, Managers and Partners to ensure high-quality service delivery and timely completion of assignments.
