Job summary

Audit Semi Senior role in a Newcastle-under-Lyme practice offering ACA/ACCA study support and a competitive salary (£32,000 - £42,000 DOE). This close-knit team genuinely invests in its people and provides real development opportunities.

You will deliver statutory audits, gain exposure to UK GAAP accounts and corporation tax work, with mentoring from Managers and Directors in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Around 2-3 years' experience within an accountancy practice.
• Current audit experience.
• ACA or ACCA part-qualified or actively studying.
• Good understanding of UK GAAP.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and completing statutory audits.
• Prepare audit files and working papers.
• Carry out audit fieldwork at client premises and from the office.
• Prepare statutory accounts under UK GAAP.
• Support corporation tax assignments where required.
• Build relationships with clients and deliver excellent service.
• Work closely with Managers and Directors to deliver quality assignments.
• Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate.
