Job summary

Vincere is seeking an Audit Semi Senior (Part-Qualified ACCA) in Sheffield to join a well-established accountancy practice. You will support the delivery of audit assignments, gaining real audit exposure and progressing toward an Audit Senior role with ACCA study support.

This hands-on role involves leading sections of audits, building confidence, and collaborating with seniors and managers who will invest in your development. Office-based with client site visits as required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of UK accountancy practice experience with audit exposure.
• Part-qualified ACCA (or ACA part-qualified also considered).
• Experience of audit fieldwork and producing working papers.
• Understanding of UK auditing standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence with accounts/audit software.
• Good communication and client-facing professionalism.
• Genuine interest in progressing into an Audit Senior role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audit planning and fieldwork across a range of clients.
• Prepare audit working papers and document findings clearly.
• Test controls and perform substantive testing in key areas.
• Support the preparation of accounts and audit completion files.
• Liaise with clients both on-site and remotely in a professional manner.
• Work with Audit Seniors/Managers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Develop technical knowledge and progress toward leading smaller audits.

Salary: £28,000–£35,000 DOE

The Role: What you’ll be doing

Salary & benefits

• £28,000–£35,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualification progress)
