Job summary

The Skills Coalition in High Wycombe, United Kingdom is seeking an Audit Semi Senior to join a growing practice. You will work alongside Audit Seniors on statutory audits, take ownership of smaller audits, and receive full study support to progress your career.

Ideal candidates are part-qualified ACA/ACCA or AAT, or qualified by experience, with UK practice experience and a strong team-oriented mindset. A full UK driving licence is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACA/ACCA or AAT, or qualified by experience.
• Experience in UK accountancy practice is required.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist on statutory audits from planning to completion.
• Lead smaller audits with supervision.
• Gain exposure to specialist audits (solicitors, charities).
• Review juniors' work and mentor them.
• Report to Audit Senior and Audit Manager.

Are you part-qualified ACA, ACCA or AAT and ready to step up in audit? This growing, forward-thinking practice in High Wycombe is looking for an Audit Semi Senior to join their supportive team. You'll get hands-on client exposure, the chance to lead smaller audits, and full backing to progress your career.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside Audit Seniors on statutory audits from planning through to completion
• Take ownership of smaller audits, managing them independently
• Gain experience on specialist audits including solicitors and charities
• Review the work of juniors and help them develop their skills
• Report directly to the Audit Senior and Audit Manager

What We're Looking For

• ACA / ACCA part-qualified, AAT qualified, or qualified by experience
• Previous audit experience in a UK accountancy practice
• Knowledge of CCH software is helpful but not essential
• Strong communicator who enjoys working in a team
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car
