Job summary

Christopher Brian Recruitment Limited is recruiting an Audit Semi Senior in Peterborough. You will contribute to planning, fieldwork and completion on a range of audit assignments while advancing your technical audit experience. Ideal candidates have some UK practice audit exposure and are pursuing ACA or ACCA qualifications, with a proactive attitude toward learning and client exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK practice audit environments.
• Currently pursuing ACA or ACCA qualifications.
• Wamiliar with audit testing and working papers is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist audits from planning through to completion.
• Complete audit testing and prepare working papers.
• Take responsibility for parts of larger assignments.
• Liaise with clients and request information as needed.
• Work with seniors and managers on complex audits.
• Support junior team members as appropriate.
• Gradually take ownership of smaller assignments.

We're working with a well-established accountancy practice in Peterborough that's looking to recruit an Audit Semi Senior as part of its continued growth.

This is a great opportunity for someone with some UK practice audit experience who wants more responsibility, good quality client exposure and a clear route to progress as they complete their professional qualifications.

The Role

Depending on your current experience, you'll be involved with:

• Assisting with audits from initial planning through to completion
• Completing audit testing and preparing working papers
• Taking responsibility for individual sections of larger assignments
• Liaising directly with clients and requesting relevant information
• Working alongside seniors and managers on more complex audits
• Supporting junior members of the audit team where appropriate
• Gradually taking ownership of smaller assignments as you develop

About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who have previous audit experience within a UK accountancy practice and are studying towards ACA or ACCA.
