Job summary

Michael Page Finance is seeking an entrepreneurial Audit RI to establish, lead and grow a brand new audit division within a progressive accountancy practice in the North West.

You will be the firm’s first audit appointment, gaining equity from day one and taking responsibility for transforming the existing client base into a high-quality, commercially driven service line. Flexible working arrangements and support from an established practice will back your growth.

Qualifications

• Audit RI status and authorised to sign audit reports.
• ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
• Substantial experience managing and delivering audit engagements.
• Strong technical and regulatory knowledge.
• Ambition and capability to build and lead a growing service line.

Responsibilities

As the Audit RI, you will:

• Establish and lead a new audit function from inception.

Profile

We are interested in speaking with individuals who:

• Hold Audit RI status and are authorised to sign audit reports.
• Are ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Have substantial experience managing and delivering audit engagements.
• Possess strong technical and regulatory knowledge.
• Have the ambition and capability to build and lead a growing service line.
• Enjoy developing client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
• Combine commercial thinking with strong leadership skills.
• Able to work from the Greater Manchester area.
