Grant Thornton UK LLP is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operation of the Firm’s System of Quality Management (SoQM) in line with ISQM (UK) 1. You will work under the Manager and Audit Director, delivering monitoring, testing, documentation and day-to-day quality support to audit teams.

This role offers a clear development path into more senior quality management positions with flexibility around working patterns.

Competenze

• Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) or nearing qualification.
• Experience in an Audit or Internal Audit environment.

Mansioni

• Assist in the day-to-day operation of the SoQM in line with ISQM (UK) 1.
• Support audit teams with quality guidance, documentation and training.
• Maintain quality objectives and risk assessments across SoQM components.
• Conduct monitoring activities, including testing and root cause analysis.
• Prepare documentation evidencing design, implementation and operation of SoQM.
• Be first point of contact for quality management queries.
• Support internal stakeholder engagement across the practice.
• Assist in preparing for quality reviews and inspections.
