Job summary

Blusource in Peterborough is recruiting an Audit Professional to join an accountancy firm with a strong client portfolio. The role can be moulded to suit the successful applicant, with progression from Audit Senior up to Audit Manager, and salary dependent on experience.

You'll work on a varied mix of client assignments, including charities and pension schemes, and you'll support and develop trainee accountants while delivering high quality service.

Responsibilities

• Work on a portfolio of clients, ensuring assignments are managed and work is completed in a timely manner.
• Plan and undertake audit assignments of companies and also audits and independent examination on specialist assignments such as charities and pension schemes.
• Prepare financial statements for limited companies.
• Support and develop trainee accountants with their assignments.
• Deliver an excellent level of customer service, managing and exceeding client expectations, responding to all ad hoc queries in a timely manner.
• Maintain up to date technical knowledge and attend all relevant training, conferences, and seminars.
• Manage all work efficiently, profitably and in accordance with the Company's procedures.
