Job summary

Cooper Parry is offering an Audit placement year for undergraduates. You’ll join a collaborative team supporting statutory audits for a diverse client base. This role develops hands-on experience, helps you grow professionally, and contributes to meaningful reporting.

The placement begins in early September 2027, with opportunities to work across different offices. We value curiosity, growth mindset, and the drive to pursue your accounting qualification.

Qualifications

• Undergrad student on a 4-year programme seeking a placement.
• 3 A Levels at BBC, including a numerical or business subject.

Responsibilities

• Review client information such as invoices, bank statements, and payroll reports.
• Assess the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
• Attend client year-end stocktakes (sometimes weekends/around Christmas).
• Communicate with client finance teams to understand systems and processes.
• Assist in preparing financial statements using audit software.
• Work in small teams to perform financial testing and contribute to audit reports.
• Meet deadlines and support the team to deliver high-quality work.
