Job summary

Pro-Recruitment on behalf of its client is seeking an Audit Partner to support the growth of the Thames Valley & West practice, based in Reading or Bristol. You will lead a diverse portfolio of audit engagements, advise boards and executive teams, and drive new business opportunities with senior clients.

The role requires ACA/ACCA with RI status, extensive audit experience in professional services, and strong leadership with stakeholder management.

Qualifications

Job description

Recognised as one of the UK's leading accountancy and advisory firms, our client is looking to appoint an Audit Partner to support the continued growth of its Thames Valley & West practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded and market-facing leader to join a well-established team with the Thames Valley & West practice, based in either Reading or Bristol. Working with a diverse range of clients, from fast-growing businesses and private equity-backed organisations to established corporates and international groups, you will play a key role in developing client relationships, driving growth opportunities and contributing to the long-term success of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop relationships across a diverse portfolio of audit clients.
• Act as a trusted adviser to boards, executive teams and key stakeholders.
• Drive business development activity and identify new opportunities for growth.
• Deliver high-quality audit engagements while maintaining regulatory and professional standards.
• Collaborate across Audit, Tax and Advisory teams to provide integrated client solutions.
• Contribute to the growth and strategic development of the Thames Valley & West practice.

Qualifications/Experience Required

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with Responsible Individual (RI) status.
• Extensive audit experience gained within a professional services environment.
• Proven track record of leading complex audit engagements and managing senior client relationships.
• Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards.
• Demonstrable success in business development and identifying growth opportunities.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with a strong commercial mindset.
