Taylor Rose Recruitment Ltd, Accountancy Practice specialists, has been instructed on an Audit Manager opportunity with a leading Chartered Accountants firm in Manchester. This role is ideal for an ambitious Assistant Manager or Manager seeking the next step and a strong work/life balance.

You will manage an impressive client portfolio including OMBs, Groups with International affairs, and Listed companies, handling external audits, statutory accounts and business advisory work while mentoring

Qualifications

• ACA/ ACCA qualifications with post-qualification experience.
• Experience managing audits for varied clients.
• Strong knowledge of FRS102 and UK GAAP.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied client portfolio.
• Planning and reviewing external audits.
• Review of statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP and FRS102.
• Mentoring junior staff.
• Assisting with technical queries.
• Billing management.
• Business advisory work.
• Assisting in business development.
• Building and maintaining client relationships.
