Vaisto Recruitment Ltd in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Manager to join a growing regional practice. You will manage a varied portfolio, lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, and develop junior colleagues.

The successful candidate will hold ACA or ACCA, have strong UK accounting knowledge, excellent client management skills, and the ability to build relationships across the group. Competitive package and clear career progression available.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification with ~5 years' PQE.
• Strong audit background in practice.
• Experience planning and completing audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit and accounts clients from planning to completion.
• Plan, coordinate and oversee audit assignments.
• Review statutory accounts and financial statements under UK standards.
• Review audit files for compliance with auditing standards.
• Manage workflow, budgets and deadlines across assignments.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and provide practical business advice.
• Mentor and develop audit and accounts juniors.
