Job summary

AAB, a leading professional services firm, is hiring an Audit Manager in Glasgow. You will manage a client portfolio with a proactive, high quality service and coach team members to support their development.

You will also communicate effectively with clients and the team, ensure engagements stay within budgets, review work for quality, and identify technical issues with practical solutions. A hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification (CA, ACCA)
• Experience of managing a client portfolio
• Experience of coaching and mentoring colleagues
• Driving licence and access to a car is preferable as this role involves supporting clients offsite

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients with a proactive, high quality service
• Coach team members on the job and support their development
• Communicate effectively with clients and the team
• Ensure engagements are completed within budgets and flag overruns
• Review work to ensure quality control and standards are met
• Identify technical issues and propose solutions
• Participate in tenders/proposals for new work as required
• Take responsibility for personal development and lead initiatives as part of the management team
