Job summary

Accountable-Recruitment seeks an Audit Manager in Wigan to lead a varied portfolio and oversee audits from planning through to completion. The role involves supervising junior staff, coordinating with Partners, and delivering high-quality assurance for diverse clients.

The candidate should be ACA/ACCA qualified with strong UK GAAP/IFRS knowledge, excellent client communication, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and budgets effectively.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with significant UK audit experience.
• Experience leading audit assignments and supervising teams.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS where relevant.
• Proven ability to liaise with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied portfolio of audit clients across industries.
• Leading audit assignments from planning to completion within deadlines and budgets.
• Reviewing files and statements for technical accuracy and standards compliance.
