A leading company in England is seeking an Audit Manager to oversee audit plans and lead a team of auditors. This role will involve managing a non-conformance database, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and providing visibility to stakeholders on audit findings. The ideal candidate will possess key auditor qualifications and experience in HSEQ leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Recognised Lead Auditor and Internal Auditor qualifications required.
• Experience in HSEQ leadership roles essential.
• Working knowledge of ISO standards and CDM requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor assurance programs based on HSEQ Risk Register.
• Manage and co-ordinate external and supplier audits.
• Lead and develop the Audit team for effective service delivery.

As the Audit Manager, you will be responsible for establishing the audit plans for the business and managing a team of auditors, you will collectively be undertaking risk-based audits.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing a non-conformance database detailing findings from audits. You will be required to provide stakeholders with visibility of all non-conformances and improvement opportunities.

Main Duties

• Develop implement and monitor an effective assurance program to cover risks detailed within the HSEQ Risk Register
• Manage and co-ordinate external ISO audits and supplier/ contractor audits.
• Manage and develop the Audit team to provide a highly effective service across the business.
• Monitor non-conformances and escalate areas of potential impact.

Experience and Qualifications

• Recognised Lead Auditor Qualification
• Recognised Internal Auditor Qualification
• ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 Awareness
• Working knowledge of SIPP and CDM
• Experience in a similar HSEQ leadership role
• Working knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001 & 90001
• Working knowledge of CDM requirements
• Demonstrable Project Management Capability
