Audit Manager

Manchester

£52,000 - £58,000

We are working with a rapidly growing Top 70 firm based in Manchester who are now actively looking to grow their Audit team. This could be the perfect opportunity for an Assistant Manager who is ready to step up or an individual already in a Manager position who is looking for more autonomy and growth.

Your role as an Audit Manager:

• Managing a portfolio of varied corporate audit clients, you will take responsibility for leading the engagements from planning through to completion.
• Oversee the budgeting, planning and coordination of work.
• Mentor and train team members and delegating work in accordance with business requirements.
• Prepare and negotiate fee proposals for existing clients and support the team with propositions for new clients.

What you'll need to succeed:

• You must be ACA/ACCA Qualified with post qualification experience.
• You will have experience in managing or at least co-managing your own portfolio.
• Proven project management skills.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• A good management rapport to mentor the audit team.
• Have existing experience of working within a UK accountancy practice.
