A growing and friendly accountancy firm is seeking an ambitious and proactive Audit Manager to join their team. This is a key role focused on developing and managing the audit function, supporting a diverse client base, and helping to build and mentor a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion
• Develop audit strategies and schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Identify and contribute to business development opportunities within the audit area
• Supervise, support, and mentor junior team members
• Stay current with UK GAAP, auditing standards, and relevant tax implications (including PAYE, Corporation Tax, and VAT)
About You:
• ACA or ACCA qualified, with at least 3–5 years of post-qualification audit experience
• Commercially aware with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
• Experienced in managing audits and leading teams
• Familiar with PCAS Audit Programmes (preferred but not essential)
• Professional and personable, with strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly motivated with a positive, “can-do” attitude
• Eager to grow professionally in a supportive and dynamic environment
