Job summary

Pro Finance in Brighton is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join a growing accountancy practice. You will manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients and lead audit assignments from planning through to completion.

The role includes coaching junior staff, preparing statutory accounts, and developing client relationships to support practice growth, with a notable emphasis on charity and not-for-profit work. ACA/ACCA qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Strong audit and accounts experience within practice.
• Experience managing client relationships and deadlines.
• Experience reviewing and supervising junior staff.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Charity or not-for-profit sector experience.

Responsibilities

Pro Finance is partnering with a well-established and growing accountancy practice seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its Brighton office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA-qualified professional to manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients, lead and develop a talented team, and play a key role in the continued growth of the firm's audit offering. A significant proportion of the work involves charities and not-for-profit organisations.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Building strong client relationships
• Supporting business development and practice growth initiatives
• Assisting with the development of audit services
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
• Occasional travel to client sites and London meetings

About You

You will ideally have:

• ACA or ACCA qualification
• Strong audit and accounts experience within practice
• Experience managing client relationships and deadlines
• Previous experience reviewing and supervising junior staff
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Charity or not-for-profit sector experience
