We work with Britain's economic engines—ambitious, entrepreneurial, high-growth businesses—and directly advise their owners and management teams.
We'll broaden your horizons
Learning and Development (L&D) is a key enabler of our strategy within the Audit Stream and is critical to our success. It helps us attract, develop, and retain talented people who take pride in their work and deliver results. Effective L&D supports quality and productivity by developing the necessary knowledge and skills for our people to reach their potential.
Effective L&D requires specialist resources to partner with the Audit Stream, identify training needs, and respond appropriately. It involves careful planning, project management, a critical-thinking and commercial mindset, and understanding regulatory requirements. Innovation, tools, and technology are also essential to develop tailored, relevant, and timely learning experiences.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Manager / Senior Manager to join our Learning Development team. The role suits a talented, high-performing individual eager to support current initiatives and shape future L&D strategies during a growth phase. The role reports to the Development and Monitoring Lead (DAM).
The Learning Development team designs, curates, and creates content for the Audit programme, aiming to deliver impactful and innovative solutions aligned with business outcomes. The team includes technical and non-technical specialists responsible for main authoring activities.
Lead authors collaborate with Business Partners and Audit SMEs to understand business objectives, translate them into learning objectives, and design effective interventions using modern learning methodologies and technology. They also support project management and facilitate programs where appropriate.
The successful candidate will lead a portfolio of programs, review content developed by others, mentor junior team members, and support initiatives like the Learning Library and Learning Culture programs.
Applicants should have practical audit experience, a solid understanding of financial reporting, ethics, and professional conduct. Experience in designing technical learning content is essential; formal qualifications are beneficial but not required if equivalent experience is demonstrated. The role is flexible across the UK, with travel to London and other locations as needed.
