We are excited to offer this opportunity for a talented, high-performing, and ambitious individual to join our Audit Stream L&D team as a Senior Design Consultant, supporting the development of our new curriculum with the latest learning innovations and technology. This role suits those with instructional design experience or a technology background seeking to explore a role in learning that leverages their skills. The role reports directly to the Innovation and Technology team leader and sits within our Learning Development team, led by the Development and Monitoring Lead (DAM).

The Learning Development team comprises learning designers responsible for designing and curating or creating content for the Audit programme. Our goal is to develop impactful, innovative solutions that meet learner needs and deliver clear business outcomes.

The Innovation and Technology team within Learning Development includes specialists who support the design process through the latest thinking, technology, and tools, ensuring solutions are sustainable and innovative. Activities include creating digital learning using tools like Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, Adobe Creative Cloud, video editing, adapting in-person learning for remote access, and troubleshooting design challenges to enhance learning effectiveness.

You'll be responsible for:

• Supporting the design and development of programmatic content using the latest learning design theories, tools, and technology to meet the Stream's needs.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with content SMEs and other stakeholders essential to programmatic design.
• Designing, curating, and creating content for the Audit curriculum in collaboration with the authoring team, under the guidance of the Development and Monitoring Lead.
• Coaching L&D team members on tools, technology, and instructional design theories.
• Collaborating with Lead Authors and Design Secondees to develop content, ensuring a coordinated approach that leverages the best tools and design thinking.
• Introducing the latest thinking and innovation to develop high-quality, engaging digital learning content using tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Adobe Creative Cloud suite.

Required skills and experience

• Background in programme development, content design, or similar.
• Experience in transforming face-to-face learning to digital formats, maintaining relevance and engagement.
• Ability to translate learning needs into objectives and outcomes, and coordinate responses.
• Experience with video production, filming, and editing, with proficiency in Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, or similar.
• Experience creating eLearning content with Articulate Storyline and Rise is preferred.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar tools for content creation/editing.
• Attention to detail and ability to work within branding and design parameters.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to present technical concepts engagingly.
• Excellent project management skills, with ownership and accountability for projects.
• Commitment to operational excellence and quality.
