Job summary

Addington Ball Limited is recruiting an Auditor in Coventry to lead external audits from planning through completion, working with owner-managed businesses, groups and charities. You’ll interact with clients on-site and remotely, review work, and help develop junior staff within a flat, meritocratic firm culture.

You could be at Audit Senior, Assistant Manager, or Audit Manager level, with flexibility on responsibilities and a clear path to progression based on contribution and ability.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA, or equivalent audit experience.
• Experience conducting audits in an accountancy practice.
• Ability to own engagements and interact directly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead external audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Be a key day-to-day client contact on-site and remotely.
• Review work and mentor junior team members.
• Prepare and review financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Work with diverse clients including owner-managed businesses, groups, and charities.
• Support broader service offering including accounts prep, tax compliance, and business advisory.
• Assume greater client and portfolio responsibility as experience grows.
