Job summary

The Dains Group in Leicester is seeking an Audit Graduate to join our Early Careers team. You will embark on a structured training programme leading to ACA qualification and gain exposure to diverse clients while developing auditing skills.

This role offers hybrid working, a comprehensive induction, 25 days leave, volunteering days, and access to the Dains Academy as you build a progressive career in accountancy.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at least a grade 6 or equivalent.
• A minimum of 112 UCAS points or equivalent (excluding General Studies).
• 2:1 honours degree or predicted.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Examine client accounts and test financial systems for accuracy and reliability.
• Assess risk, verify transactions, and provide assurance for regulatory compliance.
• Learn to work across diverse sectors and develop audit judgment.

Our Audit Team

Our audit team know it’s all about building trust with clients. As part of our Audit team, you’ll examine company accounts, test financial systems, and ensure businesses are presenting a true and fair view of their performance. You’ll learn how to assess risk, verify transactions, and provide assurance that helps clients meet regulatory requirements and make informed decisions.

In audit you will work across a wide range of various sectors, giving you the exposure to allow you to work independently
