Job summary

Dains Group is seeking an Audit Graduate to join the Birmingham office, offering a structured 3-year training programme to achieve ACA chartered status. The role includes hybrid working options, a comprehensive induction, and involvement in diverse audits across sectors.

You'll work to build trust with clients, learn risk assessment, and develop practical accounting skills while progressing towards Chartered Accountant status in a supportive, people-focused culture.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade 6 or higher.
• 112 UCAS points or equivalent (excluding General Studies).
• 2:1 honours degree (predicted or completed).
• Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Examine company accounts and test financial systems within audit engagements.
• Help ensure clients present a true and fair view of performance.
• Assess risk, verify transactions and provide assurance for regulatory compliance.
• Support clients across a range of sectors and gain diverse experience.
• Develop independence and professional judgment through the audit process.

Our Audit Team

Our audit team know it's all about building trust with clients. As part of our audit team, you'll examine company accounts, test financial systems, and ensure businesses are presenting a true and fair view of their performance. You'll learn how to assess risk, verify transactions, and provide assurance that helps clients meet regulatory requirements and make informed decisions.

In audit you will work across a wide range of various sectors, giving you the exposure to allow you to work independently.
