Job summary

TPF Recruitment Ltd is working with a well established accountancy practice near Gatwick to recruit an Audit Executive. The role is ideal for a newly qualified ACA/ACCA or someone with around one year PQE, offering progression in an audit career within a supportive environment.

You will oversee audits, manage client relationships and supervise junior staff, while developing leadership skills and technical expertise in a varied client portfolio.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified ACA or ACCA professional, or about 1 year post-qualification experience.
• Ability to oversee audit assignments and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee audit assignments, ensuring work is planned and delivered on time.
• Manage client correspondence and maintain effective communication throughout the audit process.
• Coordinate audit schedules with clients and plan engagements.
• Prepare draft budgets and monitor progress against timeframes and fees.
• Supervise and review work by senior and junior team members.
• Provide feedback and support the development of the wider team.
• Ensure audit files are complete and ready for final review by Manager or Partner.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve efficiency and maintain quality standards.
