Job summary

AJ Chambers in Maidstone is seeking an Audit Executive to join a Top 20 firm. You will lead audits from planning through to completion, manage client communications, and coordinate scheduling with clients.

The role involves reviewing junior and senior work, managing your own client portfolio, and monitoring progress on jobs to ensure high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate is newly qualified or up to 1 year post-qualification, with strong organizational skills and experience in audit

Qualifications

• Newly qualified or up to 1 year post-qualification experience could apply.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience in audit environments and client service.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits from planning through to completion.
• Handle and respond to client correspondence.
• Agree timing of work with clients and schedule tasks.
• Review work by juniors and seniors and provide feedback.
• Manage a dedicated portfolio of clients where appropriate.
• Monitor progress of jobs and workloads within the portfolio.
• Undertake critical audit areas to ensure quality and compliance.

The Role:

• 100% Audit focused, working on a varied client base
• Responsible for leading audits from planning through to completion
• Dealing with correspondence from clients
• Agree timing of work / scheduling with clients
• Review and provide feedback on work prepared by juniors / seniors
• Manage own portfolio of clients (where appropriate)
• Monitor work in progress on jobs in portfolio
• Undertake critical audit areas

You:

• Newly qualified or up to 1 year post qualification experience
• Supervisory experience – able to delegate and review effectively
• Great organisational skills
