Your new company
Due to ongoing growth, a new opportunity has arisen in the Corporate Audit team of a leading national audit, tax, advisory, and consulting firm.
This is a firm which combines both global reach and local expertise and, whilst being a national firm, retains a human approach within their culture. Our client is now looking to recruit at both part-qualified and nearly/newly qualified levels in the Midlands.
Your new role
As a member of the Corporate Audit team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality client assignments, working mostly with businesses with some involvement in auditing charities and academies. Clients will range in size and industry (including OMBs, groups, and large multinationals), providing broad exposure to different businesses and audit types.
You will develop excellent client relationships and work closely with colleagues to meet deadlines. Depending on your experience, you might support the development of audit trainees and will be given additional responsibilities, such as leading sections of audits for bigger clients and managing smaller audits. Alongside audit work, you will study towards ACA or ACCA exams with full study support provided.
What you'll need to succeed
You should possess a minimum of 12 months of audit experience within a UK accountancy firm with exposure to UK GAAP standards. You will be studying towards ACA/ACCA qualification, proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and experienced with various accounting software. A passion for client service, energy, enthusiasm, and results-oriented mindset are essential. Excellent communication skills and a desire for personal development and career growth are also important.
What you'll get in return
If successful, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
