Qualifications

• Studying for ACA, ICAS, ACCA or CIPFA professional qualification.
• Good understanding of UK GAAP and FRS 102.
• Curiosity about clients and how their businesses work.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office; audit software experience is a bonus.
• Good organisation and ability to balance client work with study.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an audit team on a varied portfolio of clients, supporting the delivery of quality audits.
• Carry out audit fieldwork, including testing, documenting your work and preparing working papers to a high standard.
• Help prepare and review aspects of financial statements, with guidance from more experienced colleagues.
• Build strong working relationships with your team and with client contacts.
• Learn from your seniors and take on more responsibility as your confidence grows.
• Balance your day job with your exam studies, with the support of your team.
