We have partnered with a Top 10 firm in Birmingham to seek a talented individual to join their auditing team.

This vacancy presents an excellent opportunity for someone already in an Associate Director position seeking greater flexibility, or a Senior Manager in audit looking for growth and development.

Your role as an Audit Associate Director

• Oversee a team responsible for a range of services, including internal and external audits, finance due diligence, variations, management accounts, and payroll.
• Manage audit work, set budgets, coordinate staff bookings, and review planning processes.
• Prepare proposals for new work, attend marketing events, and identify opportunities for business development.
• Ensure clients receive excellent service and their expectations are exceeded.
• Manage and motivate staff to achieve optimal performance.

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
• Significant external audit experience within a UK professional services environment
• Experience working with entrepreneurial, OMB, SME, and AIM-listed clients
• Knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, industry specifics, and networking skills
