We specialise in instrumentation and control/automation across sectors like Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. Opportunities are available in Birmingham, Surrey, and Bristol offices (other locations may be considered).

Your Purpose:

• Own and lead teams undertaking technical design following relevant standards and high-quality levels.
• Define briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
• Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones and programmes.
• Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Establish quality assurance standards in design.
• Develop and manage ICA engineering capabilities within the practice.

What you can bring:

• Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.
• Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
• In-depth knowledge of ICA design (instrumentation, PLC, SCADA), motor control, system architecture, communication networks, P&ID's, ATEX practices, functional safety, control specifications (URS/FDS), schedules, and system requirements in process/industrial environments.
• Expertise in UK design standards, practices, and guidance.
