Job summary

Azets is hiring an Audit Senior to lead high-quality audits, support junior staff, and collaborate with clients. You’ll grow responsibilities at a supported pace within a local team, with a clear path toward manager and the flexibility to balance work and life.

You’ll plan, execute, and complete assignments under UK standards, review junior work, and communicate risks to managers. The role offers hybrid working, ongoing development programmes, mentoring, and a pathway to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CA qualified, or within 12 months of qualification.
• Proven experience delivering audit assignments within a UK practice environment.
• Comfortable owning audit sections from planning through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments in line with UK auditing standards.
• Be heavily involved in audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical procedures, often on-site at client premises.
• Take responsibility for specific sections of the audit file, ensuring work is accurate, complete, and well documented.
• Prepare statutory financial statements from client data and identify key risks or matters for Manager or Partner review.
• Review work completed by junior team members and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Communicate effectively with clients as part of the wider audit team.
