What You'll Be Doing

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Audit Team in Cambridge. Our growing office has recently doubled in size and plans further expansion. You will join a team of experienced professionals from whom you can learn and work on an interesting portfolio of clients.

Your responsibilities include planning, performing, and completing the audit process for each assignment, ensuring clients receive high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish relationships with key contacts at the client.
  • Provide efficient, proactive service and exceed client expectations.
  • Identify issues and coordinate resolutions with the client Partner or Director, keeping them updated on progress.
  • Understand the commercial aspects of clients' businesses and their impact on our work.
  • Identify and highlight opportunities for S&W from the work undertaken.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to monitor progress, resolve hurdles, and manage expectations.
Qualifications

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Studying for an accountancy qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA).
  • Experience in audit and accounts within a professional services firm.
  • Strong communication skills, both internally and with clients.
  • Experience supervising others and delegating work.
  • Ability to motivate staff for optimal performance.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple assignments effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, directors, staff, and other professionals.
  • Proactive cost monitoring against budgets for individual clients.
