Job summary

Michael Page Finance is seeking an ambitious Audit Assistant Manager to join its Audit & Assurance team. The role offers hybrid working with 2/3 days in the office and the chance to lead audit assignments across a diverse client portfolio.

You will develop leadership skills, mentor junior staff, and work closely with Managers and Partners from planning through to completion on UK statutory audits.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification (or be qualified by experience).
• Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
• Experience supervising and reviewing the work of junior staff.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Plan, coordinate and review audit work.
• Manage on-site and remote audit teams.
• Review statutory accounts and audit files.
• Identify risks and ensure compliance with auditing standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor junior team members and support Managers/Partners with business development.
