Grant Thornton UK is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager in our Entrepreneurial Services team to deliver high-quality audits for fast-growth SMEs and entrepreneurial clients.

You will lead onsite audit teams, review financial statements, and develop relationships with clients while broadening your technical knowledge across UK GAAP/FRS102, tax and advisory services. The role offers flexible working, development programmes and a supportive culture that values curiosity, collaboration and balance.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification (ACA/ICAS/CA/ACCA or CIPFA) with PQE and portfolio management experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102 and audit methodology.
• Experience using audit software and MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Become a trusted business advisor to our clients, with a focus on quality and reputation
• Project manage client work and oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
• Lead onsite audit teams, preparing and reviewing financial statements and updating management
• Build and maintain strong working relationship with your team and our clients, providing support to junior team members
