Job summary

Haslers, a leading Chartered Accountants firm based in Loughton, invites graduates to join our Business Services Group for an early January 2027 intake. You will work on accounts production and on-site audits under supervision while studying for the ACA exams.

You will gain hands-on experience across client engagements, with opportunities to take on responsibilities early, supported by structured training and exposure to diverse sectors and UK subsidiaries of international groups.

Qualifications

• A minimum 2:1 degree, in any discipline.
• Minimum of 120 UCAS points preferably in academic subjects.
• Minimum Grade 6 or above in GCSE Maths & English Language.
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.
• Candidates must have a full clean driving licence.
• Be available and permitted to work in the UK, from the start date of the programme.

Responsibilities

• Carry out audit and accounts assignments either in the office or at client’s premises using Haslers’ IT systems and ensure appropriate regulatory processes are adhered to.
• Complete basic accounts preparation work including working with sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Financial analysis and reconciliation as required.
• Prepare draft accounts assignments and VAT returns for clients.
• Liaise and effectively communicate with clients to obtain client records and relevant information needed to carry out the work.
• Any other financial and administrative tasks as required.
