Job summary

DJH is seeking an Audit & Accounts Trainee in Bury with an August 2027 or September 2027 start. You will join a vibrant Early Careers team and embark on a fully funded training programme to qualify in accountancy.

As an apprentice you’ll gain hands‑on client exposure, assist with audits, prepare management accounts, and learn corporation tax computations while working toward professional qualifications in a forward‑thinking firm that values development and progression.

Qualifications

• Be a college leaver or graduate. Graduates should hold a minimum 2:1 degree.
• College leavers should hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 5 and above (including Maths and English at grade 6 or above), and be on track to achieve 3 A Levels (or equivalent) at grade C or above in any subject.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a talented team, adding value to the work delivered to clients.
• Build long-lasting relationships with clients and wow them daily.
• Work as part of a team to deliver meticulous and efficient audits for a wide range of clients.
• Shadowing, questioning and learning to help you achieve your ambitions and pass your studies.
• Look at corporation tax computations.
• Prepare management accounts.
• Gain exposure to a range of industries such as manufacturing, hospitality, construction.
