Job summary

DJH in Trowbridge is offering a Trainee Accountant apprenticeship designed for school leavers looking to begin a career in accounting. You'll join the Early Careers team and receive a fully funded training package while you learn on the job.

The role involves assisting with year-end financial statements, calculating tax liabilities, and developing your skills through shadowing and structured study toward the AAT qualification. A supportive environment and proactive coaching help you grow.

Qualifications

Excellent academic background with GCSEs including Maths and English at level 6+ and on track for 3 A Levels (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

Preparing year-end financial statements for a wide range of clients.
Assisting with calculating corporation and personal tax liabilities and tax planning ideas.
Shadowing and learning to progress in AAT studies.
Building long-lasting relationships with clients daily.

Lets talk about you and your skills...

Have an excellent academic background, with 5 GCSEs at a minimum level 5 and above, with a level 6 or above in both Maths and English and on track to achieve 3 A Levels (or equivalent) Grade C or above
