Job summary

Si Recruitment is seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior in Horsforth, Leeds, to manage a varied client portfolio, lead statutory audits and prepare year-end accounts with potential to progress into management. The role offers hybrid/remote working and clear career progression.

You will supervise juniors, assist with tax computations and client accounting software, and contribute to ad hoc projects such as valuations and due diligence while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong experience in accounts preparation is essential.
• Audit experience is desirable but not essential.
• AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified/part-qualified is preferred.
• Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Confident working independently and supervising junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Leading statutory audit assignments.
• Preparing year-end statutory accounts, including group accounts.
• Drafting corporation tax computations.
• Supervising and supporting junior team members and trainees.
• Assisting with bookkeeping, VAT and client accounting software.
• Supporting ad hoc work including tax planning, valuations and due diligence.
